Shipping

Our worms are shipped in air and water permeable bags and snugly packed into a cardboard box. The worms are shipped in peat moss for their safety.  When you receive your worms they will be slightly dehydrated and not necessarily looking their best.  Please get them into moist bedding quickly and they will rehydrate and be ready to rock!  

The permeable bag is suitable for making worm tea or used as a worm bag. It makes a great storage bag for casting too!

The arrive alive guarantee requires that your worms be held at the Post Office.  When you place your order please indicate on the checkout page in the instructions section HOLD AT  POST OFFICE. If you do not indicate HOLD AT POST OFFICE your order will be sent to the address provided and the Arrive Alive policy will not apply. We will send tracking information when the worms are shipped. Please plan on picking up the worms up as quickly as possible.

You should be home to receive your worms as they will not do well exposed to the elements or left in a mailbox. Please get them into moist bedding quickly and they will rehydrate quickly and be ready to rock!  The Arrive Alive Guarantee is NOT applicable for ship to home orders.
